For literary translation studies, cognitive narratology has strong explanatory power and theoretical application value. Therefore, the study of translatology from the perspective of cognitive narration should be regarded as one of the main subjects of literary translation. This article uses Ge Haowen’s translation of Life and Death as a case study object, analyzes it in detail from the perspective of cognitive narratology, discusses and certifies Ge Haowen’s English version with the narration and the relationship between narrator and story respectively Changes in narrative patterns are not only reflected in the transfer of Syria, the provincial Syria, pseudo Syria, but also exist in the story, the story and different stories, stories and other transboundary phenomena. The success of Ge Haowen’s English translation in the English-speaking world is not only due to the strong social and symbolic capital of the translator Ge Haowen and the original author Mo Yan, but also the change and perspective of the translation of Ge Haowen’s English version.
