萱旺特先生(Schonwandt)是西德造型咨询委员会成员。应我院工业设计系及中国建筑技术发展中心之邀,受德国歌德文化中心的派遣到我院讲学。萱旺特先生本人虽不是工业设计师,他从事的工作是沟通工业设计师与生产、销售的联系,所以他具备作为社会意义的工业设计所包含的综合知识。这意味着他不但懂得一个工业设计师应如何去创造,也深知生产管理与销售这两个因素对设计师创造思维的制约与启迪作用。在西德从事这个领域工作的人不超过10人。他曾任西德著名的布劳恩电器公司(Braun)顾问,又是布劳恩国际设计奖评选委员会的顾问。
Schonwandt is a member of the West German modeling consultative committee. At the invitation of Department of Industrial Design and China Building Technology Development Center, I was sent to our school to give lectures by German Goethe Cultural Center. Xuan Wang Te Although I am not an industrial designer himself, his job is to communicate the connection between industrial designer and production and sales, so he has a comprehensive knowledge of industrial design as social significance. This means that he not only understands how an industrial designer should create but also understands that the two factors of production management and sales are the constraints and enlightenment for designers to create thinking. No more than 10 people work in this field in West Germany. He was a well-known Braun consultant in West Germany and a consultant to the Braun International Design Award Selection Committee.
