黄河下游的临时防洪工程之一——大工溢洪工程于5月初开始施工,至5月底第1期工程已胜利完成,全都工程预计6月20日竣工。工程完成后,黄河若发生特大洪水时,可配合石头庄等处的分洪作用,避免黄河发生严重的决口和改道。
One of the temporary flood prevention projects in the lower reaches of the Yellow River - the big spillway project started construction in early May and the first phase of the project has been completed by the end of May. All the works are expected to be completed on June 20. When the project is completed, the Yellow River can cope with the flood diversion at Stone Village to prevent serious breach and diversion of the Yellow River.
