马西园是当代公认的传统功力最为深厚的隐逸派书画大家,他年轻时游学北京、西安等地,结交了不少书画大师,画艺大进。他的焦墨、淡墨山水自成一家,被书画界认为是“宾虹后一人而已”;他的书法炉火纯青,常人难以企及,仅在马来西亚举办个人书画展就达8次。他曾应邀赴中南海作画,他的众多收藏无偿捐给了国家,他为民族文化事业多次捐款,一生淡泊名利,德艺双馨。
Massey Gardens is recognized as the most profound traditional skill of the seclusionist calligraphy and painting everyone, he was young and traveled to Beijing, Xi’an and other places, made a lot of painting and calligraphy masters, painting art.
