In this paper, 91 patients with acute nephritis were enrolled. According to the WBC count value on admission, they were divided into 46 cases of increasing group (WBC≥10 × 10 ~ 9 / L) and 45 cases of normal group (WBC≤10 × 10 ~ 9 / L) . Statistical analysis of two groups of clinical data, the results: increased renal injury, circulatory congestion, hypertensive encephalopathy, the incidence of poor prognosis was significantly higher than the normal group (P <0.01 ~ 0.05). This risk is not affected by gender, age, history of pre-infection and other factors (P> 0.05). It is suggested that WBC count is an independent risk factor for acute nephritis and can be used as an index to understand the condition and estimate the prognosis.
