普通高中《数学课程标准》在课程的总目标中指出:“发展数学应用意识和创新意识,培养学生自主探究的学习能力和创新思维的能力。”中学生的创新思维就是指通过自己智能去探究,发现掌握前所未知的知识和技能,并在实践中加以运用。创新教育体现在数学教学中,就是要把培养学生的创新意识作为基本目标,鼓励学生独立思考,鼓励学生再创造,逐步学会用探究性学习解决新的数学问题。
