我省不少地区是革命老根据地,在长期的艰苦革命斗争中,不少同志为革命事业英勇奋斗而光荣牲牺和积劳病故。过去由于战争环境和人力、财力的限制,未能及时全面地进行抚恤工作。为了解决这一遗留问题,以表彰先烈抚慰遗属,提高人民群众爱国主义的思想觉悟。决定对过去牺牲、病故未抚恤的同志在一、二年内要全部追恤完毕。为做好这一工作,特作如下指示:1、根据内务部“追恤工作应该有重点的分批进行,追恤的重点是老区”的指示精神,决定1957年在六安、蚌埠、阜阳三专区的各县全面开展,并要求在本年内基本上
In many long-term and arduous revolutionary struggles, many areas in our province are old revolutionary base areas. Many comrades fought bravely and sacrificed hard for the revolutionary cause while they died.
