This paper discusses the Caledonian infiltrative ductile flow, the Hercynian-Indosinian ductile shear deformation and the Yanshanian brittle deformation in the Gezhen Shear of Hainan Province. The composition and deformation of each stage are discussed Features; focus on the ductile shear zone geometry, kinematics, dynamics and strain characteristics.
