阅读能力是英语自学能力的基础,又是培养学生自学能力的手段,同时听力、完形填空、书面表达、单项填空等题型的答题效果也直接或间接地依赖于阅读能力。英语阅读能力在英语学习中起着至关重要的作用,也将促进学生英语水平整体提高,有助于培养学生今后的英语自学能力。近年来,阅读理解是高考测试的重要内容。阅读理解试题占有很大的比重,也就是说英语高考总分150分,而阅读理解就占了40分。因此,在学生学习英语的过程中提高学生的英语阅读能力具有重大意义。那么如何提高学生的阅读能力呢?
