综合实践活动是新课改促成的新的课程形态,是一门体验性课程、实践性课程、综合性课程,具有强烈的生成性特征,其内容的选择和组织形式都是围绕学生与自然的关系、学生与他人和社会的关系、学生与自我的关系三条线索进行开展。由于其实现了素质教育的现实要求,许多学校认识到了这门课程的价值,综合实践活动逐渐成为新课改的一个亮点。“研究性学习”、“社区服务与社会实践”、“信息技术教育”、“劳动与技术教育”是国家为了帮助学校更好地落实综合实践活动而特别指定的四个领域。综合实践活动还包括大量非指定领域,如:班团队活动、校传统活动(科技节、体育节、艺术节)、学生个人或群体的心理健康活动等。
