煤炭部技术发展司于1983年6月初在开滦矿务局召开了JDB—120、225型电动机综合保护器技术鉴定会,参加会议的代表有煤炭、机械等系统的42个单位共90名代表。 JDB—120、225型电动机综合保护器是由淮南矿业学院研制、温州三溪矿山电器厂生产,并在平顶山、新汶和开滦等局矿井下试用,几经改进、完善而成的。 JDB—120、225型保护器有两种规格:JDB—120型为380与660V通用的,公称电流为120A,JDB—225型为380与660V通用的,公称电流为225A。两种电路结构完全相同。这两种保护器分别用于QC83—120型和QC83—
