新课标要求义务教育阶段的英语课程教学,应使学生初步掌握应用英语的能力。但要实现这一目标并非易事,需要教师创造性的利用教材进行教学活动,尤其是进行英语阅读教学时,更需要教师采取灵活有效的教学手段使学生掌握文本信息,同时,还能提高语言的应用能力。因此,英语阅读教学对教师教学能力的要求更高。意义与形式兼顾理念的出现,有助于教师达到这一目标。
The new curriculum requirements compulsory education phase of the English curriculum should enable students to initially grasp the ability to use English.
