武夷山位于中国东南部福建省西北的崇安县境内,这里风景秀丽,自然风光独树一帜,尤其以“丹霞地貌”著称于世。九曲溪沿岸的奇峰和峭壁,映衬着清澈的河水,构成一幅奇妙秀美的杰出景观,素有“碧水丹山”、“奇秀甲东南”之美誉。被誉为“福建第一名山”的武夷山历史悠久,人文荟萃,是三教名山。自秦汉以来,武夷山就为禅家栖息之地,留下了不少宫观、道院和庵堂故址。武夷山还曾是儒家学者倡道讲学之地。
Wuyishan is located in Chong’an County, northwest of Fujian Province in southeastern China. The scenery here is unique and the natural scenery is unique, especially known as the “Danxia Landform”.
