On April 28th, 2011, the world-famous Xi’an International Horticultural Expo opened in the ancient capital of the millennium. This is another major international event held in mainland China after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It is a grand event for the dissemination of low-carbon, green, ecological concepts, the display of Chinese cultural charm, and the promotion of harmonious coexistence between cities and nature.
