华侨经济是近代中国社会经济的重要因素之一,其形成、发展与近代中国自然经济的特殊解体过程密切相关,其活动也对中国近代社会经济产生了巨大影响。地处祖国边疆的云南省,由于其特定的历史条件和自然条件,与华侨和华侨资本的活动之间联系十分密切。在中国民族资本主义发展的“黄金时期”中,华侨资本更与云南地方民族资本结合在一起,奠立了云南地区近代工商业发展的基石。本文试由这一特殊的社会联系出发,探寻华侨和华侨资本对云南近代社会经济发展的影响和作用。
The overseas Chinese economy is one of the important factors in the social economy in modern China. Its formation and development are closely related to the special dissolution of the natural economy in modern China. Its activities have also had a huge impact on the social economy in modern China. Due to its specific historical conditions and natural conditions, Yunnan Province, which is located in the frontier of the motherland, is closely linked with the activities of overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese capital. In the “golden period” of the development of Chinese national capitalism, overseas Chinese capital combined with local ethnic capital in Yunnan Province laid the cornerstone of the modern industrial and commercial development in Yunnan. This article attempts to set out from this special social connection to explore the influence and function of overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese capital on the social and economic development of Yunnan in modern times.
