Vocabulary acquisition is particularly important for language learning. This article discusses the importance of vocabulary learning, analyzes the problems and difficulties in vocabulary teaching and the main principles to be followed in English vocabulary learning, and reviews the history of vocabulary teaching and the processing of vocabulary learning by different teaching genres.
