A new supported catalytic system of Cp  Zr Cl2/ B F3/ Al2 O3 for ethylenepolymerization was prepared . The preparation conditions such as pretreatment temperature ,reaction time and the concentration of added B F3 were investigated . It was found that thechemicalreaction and physical adsorption occurred between B Fand Al2 O3 . Their frequencywas dependent on the O Hconcentration at Al2 O3 surfaces. Ahigher polymerization activity106 ~107g P E/mol Zr·h was obtained by using the resultantsupported catalysteven atlower[ Al]/[ Zr] ratios. A new supported catalytic system of Cp  Zr Cl2 / B F3 / Al 2 O 3 for ethylene polymerization was prepared. It was found that the chemical reaction and handling between B Fand Al 2 O 3. Their frequency was dependent on the O Hconcentration at Al 2 O 3 surfaces. Ahigher polymerization activity 106 ~ 107 g PE / mol Zr · h was obtained by using the resultants supported catalysteven atlower [Al] / [Zr] ratios.
