北京市朝阳区望京地区位于首都高新技术产业功能区核心区域,居住人口约35万人,已经成立的17个社区均建立了社区党委,划分为75个党支部、106个党小组,直管党员1830人。望京地区从1994年开始规划建设,通过10年发展,在规模上已成为亚洲第一居住小区。近年来,街道党工委结合地区建设发展实际,按照“旗帜感召,队伍凝聚;创建机制,强化作用;突出特色,夯实基础;搭建载体,实现聚合”的思路,不断探索社区党建新机制,拓展为民服务新领域,充分发挥了党工委的核心凝聚作用,推进了社区各项工作的落实。
