众所周知,降低发动机润滑油消耗量的方法,主要是通过减少润滑油烧损消耗、降低润滑系统的比容积和提高润滑油更换前的寿命来解决。由于采取上述的措施,使得美国到1980年时的发动机润滑油总消耗量,尽管在汽车总数增长得很大的情况下,却大致仍保持在目前的水平。另根据西德石油加工工业的预测,西德到1980年时的汽车数量将增长60%,但发动机润滑油消耗则仅增长8%。因此这就势必应减少
