杨秀峰(1897—1983),字秀林,诞生于河北省迁安县杨团堡村一个书香门第。早年攻读中、高级师范学校,做过中学、师范学校教员,乃至大学教授。曾留学法国、苏联,通晓法、英、俄等语言。战争年代曾任冀西抗日游击队司令、冀南行政公署主任、晋冀鲁豫边区政府主席、华北人民政府副主席。新中国成立后,历任河北省人民政府主席、中央高等教育部部长、教育部部长兼国务院文教办公室副主任,最高人民法院院长、第五届全国政协副主席,中共八届中央委员。
Yang Xiufeng (1897-1983), the word show Lin, was born in Qian’an County, Hebei Province, a village of Yang Mission Village a scholarly door. In his early years of study, senior normal school, done in high school, teacher education faculty, and university professors. Have studied in France, the Soviet Union, familiar with French, English, Russian and other languages. During the war years, he served as commander of the anti-Japanese guerrillas in western Hebei, director of the Jinan Administrative Office, chairman of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region Government and vice chairman of North China People’s Government. After the founding of New China, he served successively as the chairman of the People’s Government of Hebei Province, the minister of the Central Higher Education Ministry, the minister of education and the vice director of the cultural and educational office of the State Council, the president of the Supreme People’s Court, the vice chairman of the Fifth CPPCC National Committee and the eighth member of the CPC Central Committee.
