郁达夫文学创作中的日本印象主要表现在民族精神,文化和文学三个方面。在民族精神方面,郁达夫通过中日近代民族精神的比较,暴露出中国民众的委顿状态,旨在唤醒沉睡的中华民族。在文化方面,郁达夫对日本传统文化由于受到西方现代文明侵蚀逐渐走向消亡产生担忧。在文学方面,郁达夫通过对日本“私小说”和唯美主义的借鉴和吸收,逐渐形成了自己“自述传”小说的独特风格。
The impression of Japan in Yu Dafu’s literary creation mainly manifests in three aspects: national spirit, culture and literature. In terms of national spirit, Yu Dafu exposed the Chinese state of deterrence through the comparison of the modern national spirit of China and Japan in order to awaken the sleeping Chinese nation. In terms of culture, Yu Dafu worried about the gradual decline of Japanese traditional culture due to the erosion of Western modern civilization. In literature, Yu Dafu gradually formed his unique style of self-criticism through the reference and absorption of Japanese “private fiction” and aestheticism.
