2010年以来,甘肃省嘉峪关市充分发挥人口计生服务网络优势,精心组织,周密部署,对计划怀孕夫妇全面开展免费孕前优生健康教育及健康检查工作。全市成立了免费孕前优生健康检查工作领导小组和工作组,召开专题会议对主要任务和工作目标进一步细化,并制定下发《优生促进工程实施方案》,明确指导思想、工作目标、工作原则、目标人群、服务内容、服务机构和职责分工,形成了政府主导实施、部门通力合作、群众积极参与的良好局面。
