大学出版社是从诞生那天起,就承担着为教学和科研服务的职能,大学教材和学术著(译)作是其产品的两大重要组成。但是目前代表大学社特色的学术著(译)作的出版状况令人担忧。有些出版社学术著作的出版严重萎缩,每年零星地出版几种依靠作者包销的图书,越来越趋边缘化。还有部分大学社译著在十年前大批引进后,没有收到预期效果而不再持续;另有一些大学社则根本没有译著的选题规划。
Since its birth, University Press has taken on the role of serving teaching and scientific research. University textbooks and academic works are the two major components of its products. However, the current publication status of the academic books that represent the characteristics of the university community is worrying. In some publishing houses, the publication of scholarly books has been severely reduced. Each year, several books that are underwritten by the authors are sporadically published and become increasingly marginalized. There are also some university translations that were introduced after they were introduced a decade ago and did not receive the expected results and are no longer sustainable. Some other university societies do not have any translated topics planned at all.
