利用激光防治癌肿是一项新技术。自1965年连续波二氧化碳激光被发现,激光治癌被引起重视。二氧化碳连续波激光突出的优点是输出功率大,作用性质温和,配合多关节棱镜传输,导光系统灵活,有较大的工作范围。二氧化碳激光经透镜聚焦为光点,能够连续地大块切割组织,较好地控制出血。在切割的极短时间内,封闭血管和淋巴管,具有防止癌细胞播散的独到之处。中等功率连续输出的二氧化碳激光,局部产生的高温、高压,对肿瘤组织有溶解,气化和破坏作用。
