我国学校教育主要承担的是科学文化知识的传播。公共道德和价值观念教育的缺失、“以人为本”的教育体制尚未建立等现状,使学校教育的知识教育显得相对孤立和单薄。这造成了教育资源的浪费和教育成本的过大,人才知识结构与社会脱节,人才的价值和道德观念与社会发展失调等后果,这是我国学校教育现行体制的致命缺陷。而群众文化的社会审美教育,除了要传播主流文化所主张的价值观念、道德标准之外,还要传播其自身的审美趣味和文化品位,这种传播过程实际就是对社会实施教化的过程。从这个层面上讲,群众文化无疑是对当前国民教育的有益延伸。
The primary responsibility of our country’s school education is the dissemination of scientific and cultural knowledge. The lack of public morality and values education, the “people-oriented” education system has not yet been established so that the education of school education seems relatively isolated and meager. This has resulted in the waste of education resources and the excessive cost of education, the dislocation of knowledge structure and society, the value of talent and the morality and social unrest. These are the fatal flaws of the current system of school education in our country. In addition to propagating the values and moral standards advocated by the mainstream culture, the social aesthetic education of mass culture should also spread its own aesthetic taste and cultural taste. This process of communication is actually a process of enlightenment to society. From this level, mass culture is undoubtedly a useful extension of current national education.
