For left-behind children who are far away from their parents, even with more pocket money, they can not fill the emotional world of their unfortunate misfortune. Nie Mao can not deny this. For the past two years or more, the 42-year-old Professor of Liberal Arts at Central South University and a member of his research group have documented “left-behind children” and “shocking living conditions” in many villages in Hunan and Anhui provinces. He put these contents into a book, named “injured village”, launched by People’s Daily Press. Professor Nie leans back in his chair, showing a lot of thoughts, and he explains the philosophical title: “Men often say that men are the backbone of the country, and the women are the milk of the country. When men and women leave the country, Is a weak, rural country without a spine and milk, wounded, and weak. ”“ His tone resolves to make a firm judgment: ”The problem of left-behind children is grave and could endanger the future of the countryside.“ ”
