Since the 1970s, vocational education has been developed rapidly in the world and shows some new characteristics in the 21st century. This paper explores and analyzes the eight trends in the future development. Understanding these trends will help to better grasp the law of the development of vocational education and enhance the effectiveness of our professional and technical personnel training.
