侯伯宇,西北大学现代物理研究所原所长、教授,我国著名理论物理学家,国家级有突出贡献专家,博士生导师,中国共产党的优秀党员。他于2010年10月6日因病去世,享年80岁。我与表哥侯伯宇仅见过一次面,那还是上世纪80年代末,我在舅舅、时任全国政协副主席侯镜如身边任专职秘书时。他来北京开科技学术会议,顺便来看望父母亲。我们只交谈了一会儿,时间虽短,他却给我留下了亲
Hou Boyu, former director and professor of the Institute of Modern Physics, Northwestern University, a famous theoretical physicist in China, a state-level expert with outstanding contributions, a doctoral supervisor, and an outstanding party member of the Chinese Communist Party. He died of illness on October 6, 2010 at the age of 80. I met only once with cousin Hou Boyu, that was still the late 1980s, when I was uncle, when Hou Jingrui, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, was surrounded by a special secretary. He came to Beijing to open science and technology conference, by the way to visit his parents. We only talked for a while, although time was short, he left me a kiss
