Outpatient service utilization is a major component of health services. According to the sample survey of family health service among residents of Wanhang District in Shanghai from September 1988 to June 1989, this paper analyzes the factors influencing residents’ use of outpatient services. Materials and Methods The survey object is residents of permanent residence in Wanhang District. The survey method is an inquiry family visit.
