本刊2002年12期刊发了魏明伦先生《当代戏剧之命运》一文,在读者中引起了很大的反响。魏明伦先生对近年来戏剧界所出现的问题进行了较为深入的思考,试图对市场经济形势下的中国戏剧的命运做一次全面、系统、理论化的探讨。他所步及的均是目前戏剧界感触最深、困惑最大也是最为关心的问题。对于这些问题的研究和解决将会直接影响到戏剧的发展和走向。因此,从今年1期开始,本刊将特辟“当代戏剧之命运”一栏,就有关今天戏剧的走向与命运请戏剧界有识之士参与讨论。与多年前本刊开展的“关于戏剧观念的讨论”不同,这次讨论不仅仅是对题材、人物、内容、形式等戏剧本体的讨论,而是对时代、环境、体制等戏剧生存系统的研究。我们希望讨论少一些泛泛的理论空谈,多一些切合实际的、对戏剧发展确有启发的真知灼见。市场经济、加入WTO,对于我国的每一个行业都带来了巨大的冲击,对于戏剧事业更是一次严峻的考验,希望大家都来关心这次讨论,因为“生存,还是毁灭,这是一个值得思考的问题。”
The issue of 2002 issue 12 of Mr. Wei Minglun “The fate of contemporary drama” aroused great repercussions among the readers. Mr. Wei Minglun conducted a more in-depth reflection on the problems that emerged in the theater industry in recent years and tried to make a comprehensive, systematic and theoretical discussion on the fate of Chinese drama in the market economy. What he has followed is the deepest feeling in the theater and the most puzzled and the most concerned issue. The research and solution to these problems will directly affect the development and trend of drama. Therefore, starting from the first phase of this year, this magazine will set a special column on “the fate of contemporary drama,” and discuss the direction and fate of today’s drama. Different from the “discussion of the concept of drama” published in the journal many years ago, this discussion is not only a discussion of the themes of drama, characters, content and form, but also a study of drama survival systems such as the era, the environment and the system . We would like to discuss less general discourse of theory and more realistic insights which really inspire drama development. The market economy and the accession to the WTO have brought tremendous impact on every industry in our country. It is a severe test for the cause of drama and I hope everyone will care about this discussion because “it is worth living or destroying Thinking questions. ”
