This is a close-up, with only 450 words. 450 words, it has successfully recorded such a major event as the return of Hong Kong. This feature is from the Associated Press reporter. Of all the news stories I have ever seen that record the return of Hong Kong to China at the handover, I think this article is the best written. The Xinhua News Agency’s “Reference News” has twice been published in this article: published on July 1, 1997, and remembered the second time in July 2001 when the 4th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China was remembered.
