有研究者认为,近些年的研究成果,虽然已初步构成了有中国特色的职业教育理论框架,但由于起步晚,所发表或出版的成果中教科书类型的多,理论专著少,学科体系基本上沿袭普通教育学,对自身的特殊性、逻辑结构等问题研究不足,许多相关学科如职业教育心理学、职业教育社会学、职业教育伦理学、职业教育经济学等都尚未建立或处于初创阶段(高奇,2001)。
