在伊盟各级党政领导的大力支持下,经过全盟各级林业主管部门的共同努力,20年来,伊盟飞播造林取得了可喜的成效.去年,在全国飞播造林四十周年纪念大会上,伊盟荣获国家计委、林业部、财政部、中国人民解放军空军、民航总局五部委颁发的先进单位奖,盟林业局飞播造林治沙站站长、林业高级工程师王蕴忠同志荣获先进个人奖.伊盟的飞播造林始于1978牛.在林业部、内蒙古林业厅的大力支持下,在毛乌素沙地中、东段开展了五年的试验研究,飞播保存率达到36.2%～41.7%,创国内沙区飞播同期最好水平,并获自治区科技进步二等奖.1983年至1987年,经自治区林业厅批准,伊盟又开始为期五年的中间飞播试验,保存率达52.8%～89%,得到国内外专家的好评,并获林业部科技进步三等奖和自治区科技进步二等奖.1988年,飞播造林技术进入了推广应用阶段:此后,伊盟先后两次被评为全区飞播造林先进盟市,伊
