古生物化石有着独特的科学价值、观赏价值和收藏价值。2016年,中国观赏石协会古生物化石专业委员会成立,这是全国第一个以古生物化石为背景的社会团体。2016年湖北黄石首届地矿科普展期间,古生物化石专委会组织了第一届化石科普国际论坛,取得了良好效果。为了顺应古生物化石事业迅速发展的形势,促进化石的保护和科学利用工作,在国土资源部地质环境司和国家古生物化石专家委员会办公室的指导下,中国观赏石协会与临沂大学将共同主办第二届化石科普国际论坛,主题为“走近化石、认识化石”。同时,将针对业内备受关注的古生物化石鉴定和修复,拟邀请业内一流专家,从实践角度出发,进行化石鉴定与修复专业培训。
Paleontological fossils have unique scientific value, ornamental value and collectible value. In 2016, the Ornamental Association of Paleontology Fossils of China Ornamental Association was set up, which is the first social group in the background of paleontology fossils. During the first general exhibition of geology and mineral science in Huangshi, Hubei Province, in 2016, the Paleontological Fossils Committee organized the first international fossil science forum and achieved good results. In order to comply with the rapid development of paleontology fossils and fossil conservation and scientific utilization, under the guidance of the Department of Geology and Environment of Ministry of Land and Resources and the Office of National Expert Committee of Paleontology and Fossils, China Ornamental Association and Linyi University will jointly sponsor the second Fossil science international forum, the theme of “approaching fossils, fossils”. At the same time, the industry will be concerned about the paleontology fossils identification and repair, to be invited to the industry’s first-class experts from a practical point of fossil identification and repair professional training.
