刘公岛面积3.15平方公里,自然风光美不可收,素有“海上仙山”和“世外桃源”的美誉,是国家重点爱国教育基地和驰名中外的旅游胜地。1985年,刘公岛伴随着威海的改革开放,对外揭开陈封近一个世纪的神秘面纱,刘公岛上的游人、商贾、祭奠者随之纷至沓来。海岛在日益繁荣的同时,也在期待一种理性的管理与服务,这也是海岛广大业主和访客的期盼。2007年,经公安部边防局批准,山东省威海边防支队成立了刘公岛边防派出所。同年4月28日,伴着阵阵的汽笛声,九位刚刚走出警校大门不久的年轻姑娘踏上了这片土地,开始履行上级交给她们的神圣而又艰巨的任务,并迅速进入了“角色”。现在,就让我们走近她们身边,听她们讲述那些鲜为人知的戍边故事。
With an area of 3.15 square kilometers, Liugong Island enjoys a beautiful natural scenery and is known as “Sea of Mountain” and “paradise”. It is a national patriotic education base and a famous tourist attraction at home and abroad. In 1985, along with Weihai’s reform and opening up, Liugong Island opened up the mystery of Chen Feng for nearly a century. The visitors, merchants and sacrificial followers on Liugong Island followed. As the island is becoming more prosperous, it is also looking forward to a rational management and service, which is also the expectation of the vast number of landowners and visitors to the island. In 2007, approved by the Border Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the Weihai border defense detachment in Shandong Province established the Liugongdao Border Defense Station. On April 28 of the same year, accompanied by a whistle of bursts, nine young girls who had just left the main gate of the police station set foot on this land and began to perform the sacred and arduous tasks entrusted to them by their superiors and quickly entered “Character”.
