英语词汇跟其他所有语言的词汇一样,都有一个新陈代谢的过程,即新词新意会不断出现,旧词旧义会不断被淘汰。作为学习英语的外国人,我们只有对英语词汇的这个新陈代谢过程需要不断追踪,才能跟上英语的发展。本文从政治、经济、军事、科学技术、社会、文学艺术等方面分析和探讨了英文报刊新词的产生途径及其语义场分布。只有不断积累新闻词汇并准确理解其文化内涵,我们才能真正做到通过阅读英美报刊扩大视野,增长知识与学习现代英语,了解世界并获取最新的信息
As in all other languages, the English vocabulary has a metabolic process in which new and new words and expressions continue to emerge, and the old and used righteousness is constantly being eliminated. As a foreigner who learns English, we can keep up with the development of English only when this metabolic process of English vocabulary needs to be continuously tracked. This article analyzes and explores the ways and semantic field distribution of new words in English newspapers from the aspects of politics, economics, military affairs, science and technology, society, literature and art. Only by constantly accumulating news vocabulary and accurately understanding its cultural connotations can we truly broaden our horizons by reading British and American newspapers, increase knowledge and learn modern English, understand the world and get the latest information
