实施西部大开发战略,加快中西部地区发展,是以江泽民为核心的党中央根据邓小平关于“两个大局”的战略思想,面向新世纪作出的重大决策。 目前,西部大开发战略已基本成型,“西部大开发”的春潮正在涌动。洞悉“西部大开发”决策出台前后的有关情况,有利于系统地了解西部大开发战略的取向。
To implement the strategy of developing the west region and to speed up the development of the central and western regions is a major policy decision made by the party Central Committee with Jiang Zemin as the core in the light of Deng Xiaoping’s strategic thinking on “two overall interests” and facing the new century.
