估算是发展学生数感的有效途径,也是保证计算正确的重要环节,尤其对提高学生的计算能力很有益处。所以小学数学教师应该充分利用和挖掘教材相关的内容,培养学生的估算能力。笔者认为,培养小学生估算能力可从以下几方面进行。一、联系实际,激发估算兴趣要提高小学生的估算能力,首先要让学生明确估算的重要性和必要性,这样才能提高他们学习估算的积极性。如,学了百以内数的认识后,学生知道40比38大一些,87接近90,可设计具体情境让学生估算:“如果我们班47位学生
