宝岛台湾,孤悬海外几十年。中国国民党主席连战、台湾亲民党主席宋楚瑜先后率团访问大陆,是“和平之旅”、“破冰之旅”。而这两次访问的大背景,离不开祖国大陆经济实力的增强,国际地位的提高和海峡两岸经贸往来强大的内在推动。大陆因素已成为台湾经济周期性波动的“稳定器”与信心指标。
Taiwan, Taiwan, lonely overseas for decades. Lien Chan, chairman of the Kuomintang, and Soong Pak-yu, chairman of the Taiwan PFP, led a delegation to visit the mainland. He said he is “a journey of peace” and “a journey to break the ice.” The background of the two visits can not be achieved without the enhancement of the economic strength of the mainland motherland, the enhancement of international status and the strong internal promotion of economic and trade exchanges across the Taiwan Strait. The mainland factor has become a “stabilizer” and a measure of confidence in the cyclical fluctuations in Taiwan’s economy.
