大自然是我们生命的泉源,正因大自然对人们的眷顾,所以人们总能享受到大自然所赠与的种种宝物,植物香精即为其一,而人类应用精油的历史就如人类的历史一般久,真正确实的起源已难以考证,但据史书记载,一位阿拉拍医生曾以蒸馏法来萃取花精,以制成精油;直到古希腊盛世,医学成为显学后,即可见当时的医书记载着许多精油的实际用途但当时的精油仍属于上层阶级珍贵物品。
