1月6日全国会计专业技术资格考试工作座谈会在昆明举行。会议结合财政部草拟的《会计专业技术资格考试暂行规定》及其《实施办法》进行了认真的讨论,并就资格考试内容,考务工作组织等提出了许多建设性意见和建议。 1月9日国务院秘书长罗干在视察苏州期间,视察了苏州会计师事务所,并作了重要讲话。他指出,会计师事务所应办成社会性、广泛性的具有法律、公正性质的机构,要秉公执法,不能和个体户搞到一块去。会计师事务所要真正办成一个企业化的单位,在分配关系上,逐步与机关脱钩,在待遇上应该高一点。 1月21日中共中央总书记江泽民在视察江苏省常州市时,参观了该市刘国钧职业教育中心第一财会模拟室,并亲自拨打算盘。他勉励学校要办好财会珠算教育事业。 2月26日财政部在深圳举行国际会计准则研讨会。近百名中外会计专家、会计理论和实务工作者参加了会议。会议围绕如何建立具有中国特色的会计准则、制定中国会计准则如何借鉴国际惯例等热点问题,进行了广泛深入的讨论和交流。 2月29日全国会计工作座谈会在深圳举行。会议的主
