摩托车的主要焊接件减震器由前叉减震筒、后叉减震筒、后叉套筒及活塞杆等部件组成。减震器焊接质量可靠与否,直接影响摩托车的行驶安全和使用寿命。在减震器的焊接生产中,传统的工艺系采用手弧焊和氧-乙炔焊,其缺点是成本高,效率低,且劳动强度大,质量难保证。为改善上述落后状况,对幸福250型摩托车减震器的焊接,先后采用CO_2焊及CO_2+O_2焊两种方法,效果良好。因后者较前者更佳,故着重予以介绍。
