The nm23 gene is a tumor metastasis suppressor gene located on chromosome 17q21, which is widely found in many biological species such as bacteria, yeast, plant, fruit fly, mouse and human, and is a conserved gene family with high homology. nm23 is a multi-functional gene whose protein products all possess the activity of NDPK and regulates the proliferation, differentiation and development of cells and is closely related to the infiltration of many human malignancies and has the functions of inhibiting The role of tumor metastasis. In recent years, the molecular mechanism of nm23 gene transfer inhibiting function and the research progress of its relationship with the clinicopathological features of gynecologic oncology have been reviewed.
