中国工程院院士、首都医科大学附属北京朝阳医院教授翁心植在内科专业方面博深兼备,他在普通内科、寄生虫病学、心血管疾病和呼吸系统疾病诸领域均有创造性贡献。20世纪70年代末他在国内最早倡导控烟工作,还与世界卫生组织及国际非政府控烟组织合作致力于国际控烟运动,被誉为“中国控烟之父”。本刊编辑部就翁教授的奋斗历程及医生培养制度、医生培养的注意事项及医德医风等问题采访了翁教授。
He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. He has rich experience in the field of internal medicine. He has made creative contributions in the field of general internal medicine, parasitology, cardiovascular diseases and respiratory diseases. In the late 1970s, he advocated the first tobacco control work in China. He also worked with WHO and international non-governmental tobacco control organizations to work on the international tobacco control campaign and was praised as “the father of tobacco control in China.” The editorial department of Professor Weng interviewed Professor Weng on the course of struggle of Professor Weng and doctor training system, doctor’s training precautions and medical ethics.
