真正的艺术作品,都融铸着灵性、感悟,是艺术家情、理、识、艺的结晶。每当看到篆刻家延宝君的作品,便被其洋溢着的独特的艺术风采所感染。延宝君是保定市政协委员,先锋机械厂高工,曾以精于刀具革新被誉为“刀具大王”。1962年毕业于天津机电学院机械系的延宝君,自幼酷爱篆刻、图画和书法。中学时期,经两位恩师指点,使他的书画艺术有了一定基础。大学时,对艺术追求的品位更高。每周日必到天津艺术博物馆观习,多次登门求教于天津美术学院的师长。1959年,其国画在河北省大中学生美展中展出,年方二十的延宝君在艺术上崭露头角。毕业后,在石家庄、曲阳、保定工作期间,继而求教于河北省著名书画家徐魁芝、刘炎、陈椿之、许鸿宾。
