亚太地区是一个广袤的区域,APEC即亚太经济合作组织是连接这些国家和地区的桥梁。APEC是区域主义在全球发展的产物,具有自己鲜明的特色,走的是一条不同于传统的、封闭的地区主义新路子,奉行的是“开放的地区主义”(openregionalism),从而创造了一种新的区域经济合作模式。APEC在贸易投资自由化与经济技术合作方面起着引导方向和推动作用,既是APEC的两大支柱,也是APEC的两个轮子,轮子转动的目标是在亚太地区创造有利于经济发展
The Asia-Pacific region is a vast area. APEC, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization, is the bridge connecting these countries and regions. APEC is a product of the development of regionalism in the world and has its own distinctive characteristics. Taking the new path of regionalism different from the traditional and closed, APEC pursues “openregionalism,” thus creating a New model of regional economic cooperation. APEC plays a guiding and promoting role in trade and investment liberalization and economic and technological cooperation. It is not only the two pillars of APEC but also the two wheels of APEC. Its goal of turning the wheel is to create favorable conditions for economic development in the Asia-Pacific region
