上世纪七十年代,《闪闪的红星》电影轰动全国。电影主人公“潘冬子”的原型是传奇将军许世友的长子许光。许光的传奇是33岁辞去北海舰队副舰长回乡尽孝40年。替父行孝,告别海军回乡下许光是许世友与结发妻子朱锡明所生的三个儿子中唯一存活的儿子。1932年,鄂豫皖根据地失守,许世友随红四方面军从大别山转战川陕,与家人失去联系。许世友的母亲果断逼迫儿媳改嫁,此后,不满三岁的许光跟着奶奶、姑姑,在深山老林中躲藏,过着颠沛流离的生活。
