At present, the western region of our country relies on its advantages in resources and the enthusiasm of promoting the regional economy with the chlor-alkali industry will not diminish. This caters to many enterprises rush to get rid of the mentality of business difficulties, making caustic soda and PVC production center of gravity more to the west. But I believe that the west is not a recipe for industrial difficulties. First, a large-scale westward advance will exacerbate excess capacity. At present, excess capacity in the chlor-alkali industry is an indisputable fact. In spite of this, the pace of expansion of the industry has shown no signs of slowing down. According to China Chlor-Alkali Industry Association, only the fourth quarter of 2012, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia
