The authors analyzed the relationship between reactive lymphadenopathy (RL) and ML by analyzing 540 cases of malignant lymphoma (ML) treated between 972 and 1998. Five of the 40 ML cases were diagnosed as ML after the first lymph node biopsy was diagnosed as RL, and the biopsy was performed 6 months later.
