反切语是运用反切原理,按照一定规律改变汉字原本字音和音节而产生的秘密语形式,是隐语行话的一种,又称为切口、切语等。1931年赵元任先生发表的《反切语八种》一文中详细介绍了八种反切语的名称和定则,可谓系统研究反切语的开端。本文研究的徐州mε-ka式反切语是赵元任先生未涉及的一种反切语形式,经过调查,本文试从徐州mε-ka式反切语的流传及其结构特点等方面对这种反切语进行描写,以揭示其语言规律。
